Wonders of Vietnam

Perfume River

Wonders of Vietnam

I have been lucky enough to spend more than a decade traveling the world almost non-stop, and a lot of people ask me, of everywhere I’ve been, which is our favorite country. I am 100% in love with Vietnam right now and I don’t plan on ending our affair anytime soon. That’s why I am sharing my experience in this beautiful Southeast Asian country that will leave you awes trucked.

Saigon (Hoi Chin Minh)

The whirlwind formally known as Saigon is a hot, noisy, dynamic city that rarely sleeps, with a complex history and plenty of cultures to soak up. Head over there to grab cheap street food and pick up a range of souvenirs. This is one of the popular destinations in Vietnam that are mostly visited by Vietnam. There are traditional Vietnamese lanterns aplenty, plus colorful fans, scarves, bowls and chopsticks, and, of course, “lucky” cats. The whirlwind formally known as Saigon is a hot, noisy, dynamic city that rarely sleeps, with a complex history and plenty of cultures to soak up. Enter into a magical world of wooden puppets diving and splashing across a water stage at the Golden Dragon Water Puppet Theatre.

Hanoi

Another popular destination in Vietnam is Hanoi

“You haven’t experienced Vietnam until you’ve visited its noisy, vibrant capital city, Hanoi. Hanoi is filled with historic buildings but doesn’t miss the ornate Temple of Literature, St Joseph’s Cathedral and the UNESCO listed Imperial Citadel of Thang Long. Navigate the traffic-choked streets of the Old Quarter to discover crumbling colonial buildings, street vendors and traditional tubular shops of Hanoi. Learn about the country’s revolutionary leader at the Ho Chi Minh mausoleum and palace complex and roam around Hoan Kiem Lake where locals come to exercise and relax.

Sail on Ha-Long Bay

“If you are looking for a magical location of this country, then you cannot go past Ha Long Bay in the north of the country. One would have not seen such beautiful scenery anywhere. I recommend not to miss this place when you are visiting Vietnam. Your trip here would be incomplete without visiting the Ha-Long Bay. Halong Bay is a picture-postcard destination with its emerald blue water and marine cliffs scattered throughout with magnificent karst topography. Locally known as ‘where the dragon descends into the sea’, this Halong Bay has numerous wind and wave-eroded limestone caves, sinkhole lakes, and grottoes. This is the best tourist place in Vietnam that I visited.

Cham Island – Treat For The Eyes

Locally known as Cu Lao Cham, this is a small pristine island with amazing landscapes. One of the upcoming places to see in Vietnam, the island is rich in marine biodiversity and comprises of many endangered species. A 30 minutes’ speedboat ride from Hoi An is all it takes to reach this Vietnam tourist attraction. The island is known for coral spotting, swimming, diving, and snorkeling. One of the best tourist places in Vietnam as said by travel bloggers one should spend overnight on the island to experience the most photogenic sunrise.

The Perfume River

Perfume River

The name is really interesting, right? You will feel amazing while strolling on the riverside and enjoying the sunset. The aroma coming from the river is because of the rich flora and fauna underwater. It fills the air and you feel the tranquility of nature. Sitting on the riverside and watching the boats is  romantic. If you want an evening alone with your partner, be there. Don’t miss to grab some street food from vendors and spend an evening at the local cafes.

Drop into worlds largest caves

Hang Son Doong
Hang Son Doong

Quang Binh province is a wild region of barely penetrable jungle in Vietnams skinny middle, close to the border with Laos. The area is riddled with hundreds of deep caves, including one of the largest in the world – Hang Son Doong. It contains a cavern so tall that a skyscraper could fit inside it.Every traveler’s dream to do a trek here is one of the popular destinations in Vietnam.

Explore the Danang

Danang
Dragon Bridge

One of Danang’s most iconic symbols, this intricately designed bridge depicts a fire-breathing dragon heading toward the East Sea. It won a 2014 Diamond award for Engineering Excellence and weighs 8,164 tonnes and stretches an ominous 666 metres in length. The bridge is best seen during a walk alongside the river after the sun sets as the bridge gradually changes colour every few minutes. My Khe most popular beach in Danang is also one of the cleanest and most beautiful. Clear waters lap the shore of a white-sand beach that is framed by picturesque mountains and dotted with umbrellas and chairs. This is another popular destination in Vietnam

Conclusion

From exploring the biggest caves in the world to relaxing on palm-fringed beaches! The Vietnamese can be the nicest friendliest, kindest and happiest people you could meet. They are charming, helpful and genuinely nice.
