Upon arrival at Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg, our representative will receive you and transfer you to the hotel. One of the largest and most populous city in South Africa, Johannesburg is the base of an extensive gold and diamond trade due to its locality on the mineral-rich Witwatersrand range of hills. Rest of the day is up to you for leisure. You can go explore the city on a sightseeing tour or just relax at your hotel. At 19:00 hr, there will be a tour briefing at the reception by our representative and a chance for you to meet fellow travellers.

Day 2 - MondayJOHANNESBURG > MPUMALANGA (Breakfast)

After having breakfast at Johannesburg, we will start the journey to the Mpumalanga Province, popularly known as ‘Paradise Country’. There will be a stoppage at South Africa’s capital city Pretoria for a quick orientation tour, before continuing to the Mpumalanga Province. Hundreds of feet down into the plush subtropical region of the Lowveld, we’ll travel through the historic towns of Lydenburg and Dullstroom. After crossing the renowned Long Tom Pass, we’ll get past through Sabie and late afternoon we arrive at Hazyview, the safari hub of the Kruger National Park.

Day 3 - TuesdayMPUMALANGA (Breakfast)

Have your breakfast and proceed to an early morning drive along the remarkable ‘Panorama Route’. You will get to see breathtaking views of Bourke’s Luck Potholes’, 26 kilometre-long Blyde River Canyon (home to the Three Rondavels) and momentous God’s Window, a stunning view (if the weather permits) of the edge of the cliff in the Kruger National Park. Return to Hazyview by late afternoon, where the remaining day is yours to relax.

Day 4 - WednesdayMPUMALANGA - Packed Breakfast

An early morning coffee or tea gets you up for the day while you carry the packed breakfast on the tour. Get started for an adventure through Kruger National Park in open vehicle safari (with English speaking Safari Guide). One of the world’s utmost national parks, Kruger is home to an exquisite range of wildlife. Enjoy the prolific birdlife and look out for the ‘Big Five’ (rhino, leopard, lion, buffalo and elephant) along with numerous other games. The afternoon is at leisure at your hotel. Open vehicle game drives are offered at late afternoon (optional and for own account).

Day 5 - ThursdayMPUMALANGA > SWAZILAND (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Get ready to experience the vibrant local culture, crafts and charming scenery of Swaziland, a self-governing Kingdom within the boundaries of South Africa. You’ll know more about the beautiful people of Swaziland and their traditions through the interactive experience. We’ll travel via Mbabane, the capital city, followed by the beautiful Ezulwini Valley. The Ezulwini Craft Market, crammed with beadwork, woven baskets and carvings will provide you a true experience of African Shopping. Overnight in Swaziland.

Day 6 - FridaySWAZILAND > ZULULAND (Breakfast)

Have your breakfast and start towards south through Swaziland, before getting back into South Africa. We’ll pass by unending vistas and traditional round huts, finally entering into Zululand. If you are a nature lover and love flora and fauna, you can avail our optional tour to an afternoon open vehicle safari (optional and for own account with an English speaking Safari Guide) in the Hluhluwe-Umfolozi Game Reserve, which is mainly popular for its preservation of white and black rhino. Overnight in Hluhluwe-Umfolozi region.

Day 7 - SaturdayZULULAND > DURBAN/UMHLANGA (Breakfast)

This morning is delightful as we go on a cruise on Lake St Lucia (if the weather conditions permit) before leaving for Durban. On your way to Durban, you’ll pass by Eucalyptus plantations, Zulu Kraals and sugar cane fields. We reach to the destination early afternoon, leaving the rest of the day at leisure to relish the golden beaches of the Indian Ocean. Overnight in Durban (Umhlanga).

Day 8 - SundayDURBAN/UMHLANGA > KNYSNA (Breakfast, Dinner)

Once you have your breakfast, you will be transferred to Durban (Umhlanga) airport to board a short southward flight to Port Elizabeth, where our representative will receive you. Upon arrival of all the fellow travellers, we start off to explore the indigenous Tsitsikamma Forest which has got a splendid beauty. Next up is a visit to Storms River Mouth (if the weather permits) and gorgeous Tsitsikamma National Park. As the day ends, we arrive at Knysna to our hotel. Known as the oyster box of South Africa, Knysna settles on the banks of a stunning lagoon in the heart of the Garden Route. Overnight in Knysna.

Day 9 - MondayKNYSNA (Breakfast, Lunch)

Have your breakfast and get set to the Featherbed Nature Reserve on a fun lagoon cruise. Enjoy the panoramic views of the lagoon and town via a trailer ride to the top of the Western Head, and later get back for lunch under the milkwood trees. You can further explore the town in the afternoon at you leisure.

Day 10 - TuesdayKNYSNA > OUDTSHOORN (Breakfast, Lunch)

We start the day travelling to Oudtshoorn through the Outeniqua Pass. Known as the ‘ostrich capital’, Oudtshoorn is the centre of the world’s Ostrich farming industry. Before we take on a tour to the limestone caves of the Cango Caves, we’ll have a guided tour to an Ostrich Farm and have a light lunch. The Cango Caves is shaped by nature through the centuries and one of the world’s great natural marvels. Arriving at the hotel in late afternoon, it is time to relax before dinner (for own account). Overnight in Oudtshoorn.

Day 11 - WednesdayOUDTSHOORN > FRANSCHHOEK > CAPE TOWN (Breakfast)

Optional tour to delight yourself with an early morning Meerkat Safari (for own account and subject to availability). A good time to witness the unbelievable wild habituated creatures coming out of their tunnels to take a sun bath before they proceed to their routine activities (weather permitting). A delicious breakfast waits for you once you get back from this nerve-wracking experience. Once done with your breakfast, the journey resumes through the ‘Little Karoo’ to Barrydale, where a visit to a local farm school is arranged for you. You can interact with the children and teachers, spend time with them in the classroom learning more about the local farming community (The school visit is subject to the school being open). Further, proceed to Montagu, a scenic and momentous spa town and continue straight to the Cape Town which is enormously set at the foot of Table Mountain. Overnight in Cape Town.

Day 12 - ThursdayCAPE TOWN (UNESCORTED) (Breakfast, Dinner)

A full day to explore on your own. You can perhaps join a sightseeing tour to Table Mountain (own account) or simply discover the city. Even though Cape Town is small, it is full of sightseeing attractions, superb bars, cafes and restaurants as well as lively craft markets. If that does not excite you, you can plan out for any of the beaches of the Cape Town. Enjoy the ambience of Cape Town with some mouth-watering Cape food, fascinating theatre and amusing tales and songs about the Cape folks. Overnight in Cape Town.

Day 13 - FridayCAPE TOWN (Breakfast)

See the stunning coastal scenery of the Cape Peninsula on a full day tour. Drive through Sea Point, the coastal village of Hout Bay (an optional and for own account seal island boat cruise available here), followed by Cape Point where (by custom) it is believed that the Indian and Atlantic Oceans meet. On our way back to Cape Town, we will halt at Simon’s Town to visit the Fish Hoek fishing village, Penguin colony at Boulders Beach (entrance fee for own account), and Muizenberg. It’s time to go for a sightseeing (own account) or have shopping (unescorted). You can opt for The Robben Island Tour (for own account and time permitting), which starts from the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront. It offers a captivating excursion or else you can just stroll through the range of shops and boutiques catering to all budgets and tastes. Later you will be transferred to the airport, railway station or harbour for your journey ahead.
