Singapore : The Happiest Place in Asia
There is a lot of things to do in Singapore, being both a modern metropolitan city and a tropical island country. Singapore is very different compared to the rest of Southeast Asia, and it is by far the easiest country we have ever traveled to in Southeast Asia. It is a modern, well organized, and spotless city where everyone speaks perfect English. I honestly didn’t expect to travel to Singapore as often as I have, considering the high number of seemingly more “exotic” and adventurous Singapore elsewhere in the region.

So if you’re wondering what to do in Singapore then this travel guide is a great place to start. Find out the best tourist attractions, know their culture and taste the delicious cuisines ou there.
My first time in Singapore
Yes, 100%! It was my first time in Singapore and I discovered there were plenty of places to visit in Singapore. The ‘city in a garden’ contains great elements from all my favorite places in the world and packs them into an accessible, compact city. You can start the day with street food in Little India, then snap pics of the street art in super-cool Kampong Glam, head to a Michelin starred restaurant for dinner, enjoy a magical light show at the Gardens By The Bay, then top off the day by enjoying the twinkly city lights from the rooftop of Marina Bay Sands. There’s something for every budget, age, and taste! These are some of the best tourist attractions in Singapore that are worth visiting.
Fort Canning Park & Colonial District
After this filling traditional Singapore breakfast, it is time to explore the heart of Singapore; the Colonial District.
The Colonial District area is packed with stunning grand colonial buildings, a relaxing park, and several awesome museums. It is the perfect area to explore on foot as everything is within a rather small geographical area.
Enjoy Vibrant Little India
From stalls selling fresh flower garlands, to Tekka Market with its delicious curried scents of roti and paratha, to the beautiful pastel-colored Sri Veeramakaliamman Temple, and Sari shops galore, this is the most colorful of Singapore’s multicultural neighborhoods. One of my favorite spots was the House of Tan Teng Niah, with its vibrant walls and shutters. Visiting Little India is one of my top things to do in Singapore, and if you fancy a bit of background, you could book a tour of Little India here. This is one of the best places to visit in Singapore which you would not want to miss.
Universal Studios is located in the ever thrilling destination in Singapore, Sentosa Island. This is undoubted, one of the best places to visit in Singapore for family. Universal Studios is the ‘it’ place to visit for a fun-filled day out. Completely loaded with entertainment, excitement, and enthusiasm, here you can find numerous restaurants, cafes and shopping areas to gallop the delicious food. You can also visit the ‘Walk of Fame’ and create a striking pose with Hollywood personalities. That’s not all if you are an adventure person this what you are looking for, the thrill is what you will get in the adrenaline-pumping roller coaster, Battlestar Galactica. This is one of the adventure in which should be on your bucket list.
Singapore is a city where we would like to keep coming back to almost every year as it is such a fresh and comfortable city to visit. Singapore has a well-functioning public transport system, high-quality restaurants and cafes, beautiful architecture and art, great shopping, and stunning parks. There is never a dull moment in Singapore.
