Full Moon Party

Full Moon Party

Once upon a time the completely docile and pristine island of Ko Pha-Ngan, was little known to many people in general, let alone the party animals. Unknown to anyone how it really started, the stories have it that the full moon party began somewhere around the 1987 by the group backpackers, to celebrate a birthday party and then it never stopped. They has such a good time that they kept coming back year after year and the word got around with the crowd getting bigger and bigger.

Now the full moon party is a giant festival with a epic gathering, falling on full moon days as per the lunar calendar. Close 40,000 people gather during the peak seasons. The festival does have it fair share of bad name too due to various reasons, but its still a lot of fun.

We at Zocales Advice that only adults of appropriate age be a part of this, and that you put your health and safety first.
