Leaving the city behind, you will now head out towards the Thai border. You will ride on a variety of dirt roads and winding trails passing through lakes and rivers. The lunch stop will be beside a large reservoir before continuing to the old French colonial town of Battambang.
Accommodation will be in a quality hotel with a pool.

A short cruise out of Battambang is Phnom Sampeau – a small mountain which witnessed major atrocities committed by the Khmer Rouge including gruesome Killing Caves and see the guns that the Vietnamese used to keep the Khmer Rouge at bay after they’d taken hold of the mountain.
Up ahead your will transform from fast paced dirt roads to muddy sections in ‘sticky land’, river crossings and winding dirt roads that climb up in the Cardamom Mountains providing breathtaking views across the hills. At the end of the day you will arrive at the homestay to cool off and spend the night.
Accommodation will be in a homestay style lodge.

Day 3OSAOM – KOH KONG | 115km

The day starts with fun dirt road in the morning branching off into thick jungle for some epic single-track riding, stream crossings and hilly sections. After the jungle section you will ride on a beautiful dirt and concrete road through the mountains on the way down to Koh Kong, visiting a couple of waterfalls en route. Your over night stay is in the charming riverside town close to the Thai border.
Accommodation will be in a quality riverside hotel.

A non-riding day today and we have the option to relax on a beach, visit Koh Kong island, kayak through mangrove forests or relax at a beautiful riverside restaurant, borrowing their kayaks to paddle on the river and watch the fire flies come out as the sun goes down.

Day 5KOH KONG – CHIPHAT | 130km

You can choose between difficult and an easy option. The harder route tackles the ‘old smugglers trail’: steep and technical rocky hills, lots of quirky bridges, river crossings, bamboo jungle and some really fun single track trails. The easy route sticks to the beautiful smooth roads that wind through the mountains, visiting the impressive Tatai waterfall along the way. Late afternoon drink down to the river / rapids for a swim.
Accommodation will be in small home stay in this beautiful riverside eco-village.

A terrific mix of terrain today: there’s some fast paced jungle riding, stretches of sand, rocky sections and plenty of river crossings. A technical and varied days riding that lands us in the pine forests of Kirrirom National Park.

Accommodation will be in a quality hotel with a pool.

A great days riding today as you loop around the top of the Elephant Mountains on your way down to the old French colonial riverside town of Kampot. You have options for easy, medium or difficult trails on flat or hilly terrain.

Accommodation will be in a riverside resort.

Day 8KAMPOT – KEP | 115KM

You will ride up 1,000m to the top of Bokor Mountain. The beautifully smooth winding roads are incredibly fun, with plenty of switchback turns and breathtaking views across the Gulf of Thailand. You will visit the old French colonial hill station and climb the stairs to the top of a deserted casino for some spectacular views. It gets quite cold at the top so you can also pop into the new casino for a hot coffee and croissant! Back down the mountain, you will cruise along towards the coastal town of Kep where we’ll enjoy a seafood lunch by the water before hitting the trails for an exciting afternoons ride.

Accommodation will be in a resort with a pool.

The final day of riding as you head north to Cambodia’s capital city of Phnom Penh. Faster paced trails today on a mix of dirt and sandy terrain. Great scenery today as you ride alongside rice paddies and through small villages lined with palm trees. You will arrive in Phnom Penh no later then 5pm and will then go out for a farewell dinner cruise along the Mekong river.

Accommodation will be in a quality hotel with a pool.
