Tour Details

Are you an adrenaline junkie who can never say enough to adventure? Then you are in the right place. This tour covers everything ranging from Paddle board to trekking, River climbing, to island hopping to kayaking. Bohol and Cebu are an adventure enthusiast’s paradise. The landscape offers ample opportunity to try everything that you have always wanted to try. So this tour has been carefully designed to get your excitement peaking every single time you step out.

Day 1Arrive in Bohol

Bohol is located in central Philippines and to get there, you will first have to fly in to Cebu. Upon your arrival, you will be picked up from the airport and transferred to Cebu port for a 2-hour boat ride to Bohol.

Overnight in Bohol.

Day 2Loboc Adventure Tour

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Loboc River. The calm waters of the river and lush greenery lining it make it ideal for standup paddle boarding. This activity will have you stand on a board, similar to that of a surfboard, while paddling on the river. You will then have lunch before transferring to the Adventure Eco Park for a zipline adventure. The rest of the day is free at your leisure.

Overnight in Bohol.

Day 3Island Hopping (Virgin Is./Balicasag Is.)

Island hopping is one of the most popular activities in the Philippines, even for locals. And Bohol is a good place to venture out to the nearby white sand beaches and encounter marine life. For this tour, you will take off from Panglao Island and get on a boat to reach Virgin Island and Balicasag Island. Virgin Island is tiny and has white sand and shallow clear waters where starfish abound. For Balicasag, you will have to change into a smaller boat to get closer to the snorkeling area. The colorful fishes here will make your swimming time enjoyable.

Overnight in Bohol

Day 4Firefly Kayaking

The tour starts in the afternoon so you can do a little bit of exploring on your own. You can take this time to see the chocolate hills and the world’s smallest primate.
In the late afternoon, you will be transferred to Abatan River where you will do the kayaking activity and get mesmerized by the beauty of the fireflies illuminating the evening sky. There will be a briefing before you get on a kayak and start paddling. As you go upstream, you will be able to enjoy the serene beauty of nature around you. You will pass by palm trees along the river and spend some time in the mangrove forest as you await for the sky to turn dark. You will then paddle further up the river to where the fireflies could usually be sighted. Many find the view of the fireflies blinking in the night to be magical and romantic. Thus, they call this part of the river the Lover’s Bend and where a number of marriage proposals have taken place.

Overnight in Bohol.

Day 5Transfer to Cebu then to Moalboal

In the morning, you will be transferred to the port and ride a fast craft back to Cebu. You will be picked up from the port in Cebu and will journey to the south for 3 hours to reach Moalboal. You will check in at your hotel and will have the rest of the day free at your leisure.

Overnight in Moalboal.

Day 6River Climbing at Matutinao River

The river climbing activity will start at 9:00 in the morning. Unlike the usual canyoning activities where you will have to descend from the waterfalls, this adventure will begin with a trek through the jungles of Matutinao Valley heading to the waterfalls. The lush plant life along the trail is mostly untouched and you will encounter animals in the wild. The way to the falls will challenge you to scramble over rocks, swim against the current, and hold on to fissures in the rocks to avoid getting swept away. There will be a series of small falls before you can get to the top and you will get to jump off a cliff into a pool. This is a true test of endurance, physical strength, and courage. You’ll feel exhilarated and proud of yourself after completing this.

Overnight in Moalboal.

Day 7Trek Osmena Peak

Osmena Peak is the highest point in Cebu at 1100m. This is one of the best ways to experience the local side of Cebu away from the towering buildings and bustling streets of the city. You’ll be one with nature as you trek through jungles and discover the flora and fauna along the way. You can meet some locals and will find a market up in the mountains where the produce of the local folks in the area are sold. This whole day tour starts at 9:00 AM and ends at 5:00 PM.

Overnight in Moalboal.

Day 7Snorkeling/ Transfer to Cebu

You won’t be returning back to Cebu until the afternoon so feel free to go snorkeling in the morning. Just a short walk from the shore and you can enter a different world underwater. Moalboal is a snorkeling haven even for non-swimmers as it affords them a chance to encounter marine life in shallow waters. And swimming just a few meters off the shore may reward you with a sighting of the sardines run, a sea turtle, or even a whale shark!

In the afternoon, you will be transferred to Cebu.

Overnight in Cebu.

Day 8Mountain Biking Adventure

This mountain biking adventure will take you on a downhill trail with steep drops and patchy paths. You will get to see the green side of Cebu. There will be a short briefing at the meetup place before you will be transferred to the starting point of the trail. After the first part of your riding tour, lunch will be served boodle-fight style. This is a tradition of eating with bare hands and no plates. The food is laid out on a long table covered with banana leaves. Everyone gathers around the table and just eats whatever they can get their hands on. It is a lot of fun! After a short rest, you will resume riding. You will have some time to go swimming before heading back to the city.

Overnight in Cebu.

Day 10Wakeboarding in Liloan

Wakeboarding is another thrilling surface-water sport that you can try in Cebu. After breakfast, you will be transferred to Cebu Water Park in Liloan. An instructor will teach you the basics before you ride a rectangular thin board with “shoes” mounted on it. You will be holding on to the handle of a rope that is connected to a cable system that pulls it. You can expect to fall off a few times if you’re a beginner but there are also ramps if you want to challenge yourself.

The rest of the day is at your leisure.

Overnight in Cebu.

Day 11Departure

There are no more planned activities for this day. So if time permits, you can go around the city or do some last minute shopping before your transfer to the airport.
